Description

Do I need a sound bar?

Modern flat screen TVs offer very limited volume for the integrated loudspeakers.
Even if the TV manufacturers get the best out of the adverse conditions, physics set limits to sound and volume, especially in the low-frequency range.

A good Soundbar offers better sound, stronger bass, higher volume, clearer speech intelligibility and usually more pronounced surround effects.

The award winning nuBoxx AS-225 max was developed to offer detailed music reproduction. Your favourite tracks can be streamed from smartphones and tablets with Bluetooth aptX, and CD or network player via the digital inputs.

Design

The AS-225 Max is an active loudspeaker that can be controlled using the rotary/push button on the front panel. Numerous LED’s are grouped around this intuitive, multi-function controller which light up in different colours indicating – input selection, sound adjustment or adjustment of the “wide effect”.

The nuBoxx AS-225 Max uses two 118 mm woofers and two 25 tweeters, both specifically designed for the soundbar and the AS-225 Max delivers an excellent performance for it’s  size class.
The impressive lower limit frequency of 35Hz is due to precise DSP control and the tuned, long throw woofers. The textile dome tweeters offer excellent omnidirectional behaviour and fine resolution.

The metal-finish remote control is uncluttered and provides quick access to inputs, volume, DSP modes, tone controls, and a Bluetooth pairing button to connect your smartphone or tablet.

The Dolby Digital encoder is capable of converting incoming data ensuring a room filling surround sound.

Variable Loudness – an adaptive loudness feature has been integrated into the system which can be used to boost lower frequencies at low level volumes and a “wide” function to make the overall sound seem wider, resulting in a more cinematic effect.
